Paul L. Sanchez, Ph.D.

Dr. Sanchez is a plant pathologist at RES working on screening and evaluation of stem rot, sheath spot, and blast resistance using various rice germplasm materials. His research includes race determination of blast isolates. Dr. Sanchez is using advanced genetics and genomics approach in identifying disease resistance and controlling blast and other diseases.
